David Lidford, 44 years, from Hartburn, Stockton on Tees, joins Steel River Consultants as a safety, health, environment and quality engineer (SHEQ) with the primary task of overseeing the consultancy’s management systems and acting as both a safety engineer and advisor.
In his role as SHEQ engineer, he will be working alongside four others on a variety of high profile and interesting schemes, which include a number of solar farm projects based in Somerset.
Highly qualified, David has a wide range of experience in both the chemical manufacturing and renewable energy industries. In previous roles as a production, quality and technical engineer as well as SHEQ manager, he has amassed a range of skills which include risk assessment, management of regulation and production, auditing, and the overseeing of business efficiency.
